Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does it matter if I type the "www" in front of HomeListingsForReno.com from my internet web browser?

Either entry format will work: You can type www.HomeListingsForReno.com or HomeListingsForReno.com from you Internet Browser. You may choose to save our website in your "Favorites" section of your browser.

Q: Could I list myself or my business as a Home Owner/Seller, a Home Buyer, and a Resource?

Yes. It is fine for a person or business to register to be on multiple lists.

Q: What if I want to use my own signs?

We provide one sign that says "For Sale By Owner - for details visit - HomeListingsForReno.com" and carries a rider sign with your phone number, as part of the listing fee. It is entirely up to you whether or not you want to have the sign posted on your property or if you post additional signs. But our sign will help potential buyers know where they can get additional information about your property.

Q: Can I use my own photographs?

A certain number of photographs, both still and panoramic, are included in the basic Home Listing package. The basic listing package price will remain the same whether or not you supply additional photos. If you choose to supply your own photos, there are certain specifications that our website requires, so it is up to our website manager whether or not your photographs can be used.

Q: Who handles my home sale paperwork?

You handle your own home sale paperwork. This website is created expressly for the Home Owner/Seller who wishes to sell their own property.

Q: Where do I get the necessary paperwork to sell my own house?

Some standard documents are downloadable from the "Forms" page of the "Buy a Home" section of this website.

Q: After I register as a Home Owner/Seller, do I need to list a house to sell?

Registering yourself as a Home Seller is free and you may register at any time. Sometimes, Sellers may choose to do more work on a property before pictures are taken or information is posted.
